![]() ![]() He doesn't need to troll his teams with a Hermelin. If he wants to citadel tier 4 cruisers, do so in another t4 cruiser. If he wants to shoot down planes, play some other cruiser. It's just, why bother? Any half-decent T4 cruiser captain will beat him in a Hermelin. So you would bring Hermelin into a tier 4 game even though it's outgunned, just for the AA? I never said that Hermelin couldn't citadel tier 4 cruisers. Why was bringing a 15 point Umikaze in to a T10 match to torp Yamatos, considered a "challenge" and this is "seal clubbing"? On that, if the Hermelin was never supposed to be in a T4 match, why does it even have AA guns? Seems odd.Īnd if attempting to citadel T4 cruisers, is "fail division" then so be it. I actually play with this captain quite a lot, and I can say that bringing a Hermelin into a T4 battle is not to "troll", but rather to utilize the Hermelin's unique AA set-up. It's always interesting to see how quickly people assume the worst about someone. The removal of gun upgrades? ( which bent Erie right over, and gave it a good, proper rogering) The removal of AP? (Which killed Hermelin, and kicked Erie and Orlan right in the junk) The change to tier 1 only MM? ( which was a major nerf to tier 2 ships) I don't know which change is more irritating: ( which was how I GOT pink in the first place.) No torps, no secondaries, and the guns are so weak the chances of a stray shell killing off a teammate by accident are miniscule. Hashidate also had the dubious honor of being the ship used to wash the stink off of my one and only pink. They were nearly always played in pve, and with low-ish point captains ( who got transferred to higher tier ships faster than I could get them above 8 or 9 points), so I wasn't a dirty seal clubber. So much for my low tier German captain trainer. Yeah, yesterday I went through my port and removed all tier 1's from being primary ships. ![]()
